AcutisLOS was founded in 2024 by a team of mortgage industry veterans who shared a common frustration: why does loan origination software have to be so expensive, so complicated, and so disconnected from how loan officers actually work?
After years of paying thousands of dollars per month for legacy LOS platforms that required weeks of training and still needed manual workarounds for basic tasks, we decided to build the system we wished existed.

Our name "Acutis" is inspired by St. Carlo Acutis—a young Italian teenager who, despite passing away at just 15 years old, left an incredible legacy through his passion for technology and faith.
Carlo was a computer programming prodigy who built websites devoted to his love for God. He used his technical skills to catalog Eucharistic miracles around the world, creating an online exhibition that continues to inspire millions. He showed the world that technology could be a tool for good, built with purpose and heart.
When we set out to build AcutisLOS, we drew inspiration from Carlo's example—proving that with determination and the right tools, you can build something meaningful from scratch. With the help of modern no-code AI web development, we've accomplished what once seemed impossible: a full-featured loan origination system built by mortgage professionals, for mortgage professionals.
